Chart Industries’ IPMSR® process and equipment will be used in Cheniere’s Corpus Christi Stage Three LNG export terminal project.
The US cryogenic equipment manufacturer today (23rd June) confirmed the news, having received a full notice to proceed with the deployment of its technology.
In conjunction with the notice, Chart has also booked an order valued at over $260m, in addition to the approximately $50m already in backlog. Both orders were received from Bechtel.
gasworld understands Chart will begin recognising revenue from the project in 2022 with a multi-year staggered delivery schedule.
Chevron USA is set to purchase two million tonnes per annum of LNG from Venture Global, under two sales and purchase agreements inked on Wednesday (22nd June).
